Buyers Quick to Purchase Model Homes at The M at Englewood South

Model.6Furnished model homes are an incredibly valuable tool in new home communities, showcasing interiors, providing a true look at functionality and even offering design ideas to interested prospects.

At The M at Englewood South in Bergen County, N.J., the model residences have not only been instrumental in the sales presentation, they’ve become some of the most popular homes to buy at the upscale collection of two-bedroom condominiums, according to Ellie Kim, Sales Representative for The Marketing Directors, the community’s exclusive marketing and sales agent.  In fact, Ms. Kim points out, many of the furnished models at The M at Englewood South have been snapped up shortly after being unveiled to the public.

“Buyer activity rises significantly whenever we debut a new model,” she says.  “Quite often, one of the first few homebuyers that tours the residence decides that they would like to purchase that exact home.  The quick appeal of the models is a true testament to the desirability of our spacious two-bedroom layouts, which come complete with upscale features and appointments throughout kitchens, baths and living spaces.”

The popularity of The M at Englewood South, and its incredible pricing starting from the mid-$400,000s, has led to nearly 80% of its luxury condominiums sold.

Residences feature open living spaces, sumptuous bedrooms, state-of-the-art kitchens with maple cabinetry, under-counter lighting and granite countertops, large laundry areas with side-by-side General Electric washers and dryers, and large walk-in closets. There is also oak hardwood flooring throughout the living area and ceramic tile flooring in the entry hall and kitchen.

Homes are being offered with creative financing available that provides a special 3% downpayment, meaning a well-appointed condominium can be purchased with an initial deposit as low as $13,000.  There’s also a limited-time incentive that offers up to $20,000 off the price of a two-bedroom condominium.

An enviable and vibrant lifestyle at The M at Englewood South is created by popular recreational and social amenities, centered on an outdoor pool and sundeck.

“Our energetic community environment is created by the large number of first-time and young homebuyers who have made The M at Englewood South home,” Ms.  Kim points out.   “Never is this more evident than during the summer season when residents delight in a lively poolside oasis.”

In addition to the outdoor pool, amenities that bolster the social environment at The M include a resident clubroom with catering kitchen for large parties and entertaining.  Residents also receive a one year membership at The Gym, a 40,000 SF state-of-the-art fitness center located steps from the community at 20 Nordhoff Place.

The M at Englewood South offers an ultra-convenient location just off Route 4 and minutes from the shopping, restaurants and entertainment in downtown Englewood.

“We’re minutes from the George Washington Bridge with easy access to the business and entertainment centers of Manhattan,” Ms. Kim says.  “A shuttle service is provided from the community to the nearby NJ Transit bus stop, which offers convenient public transportation service into New York City.  For those that prefer using their personal vehicle, a parking space in The M’s enclosed parking garage is included in the purchase price.”

Declutter (In a Big Way!)

2017-07-12_10-39-19I recently moved to a new place, and most of my things came with me. The moving process gave me a much-needed opportunity to survey the things I own and decide if I wanted to keep them and bring them to the new place, or find a new home for them (which, yeah, includes the trash can in a few instances).

It was tough to decide what would stay and what would go, but one question helped me along the way:

If I was shopping right now, would I buy this?

Imagine you’re in a store, holding the object in your hand. Would you pay to bring it home? If so, then it’s an easy addition to the “keep” pile. If not, you have a little more fuel to help you decide it needs to find its way out of your home.

It applies to clothes and decor, to tech and to tools. And this one question causes you to weigh in on a few other considerations at the same time:
