Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra Concert Celebrates 82nd season


In celebration of the Bergen Philharmonic’s 82nd season, the orchestra and Maestro Yoon Sang Timothy Cho present the musical artistry of Derek Louie, ‘cellist, 2017 Helene Emanuel/BPO Young Artist Competition winner along with Eun Joo Ko, flutist. Ms. Ko and Mr. Louie have both received numerous awards and performed here in the US and abroad. The evening’s repertoire includes Reinecke’s Flute Concerto. Dvorak’s Silent Woods, Tchaikovsky’s Pezzo Capriccioso, and Beethoven’s Symphony #3. The performance will be held Saturday, Nov 18th, 8:00 PM at Benjamin Franklin Middle School, 1315 Taft Road, Teaneck, NJ. Ticket pricing is:  Adults: $25, Seniors: $20, Students: $10. New retailers commit to downtown Englewood, Ripco says

via RE-NJ:  Seven retailers have signed leases in downtown Englewood, committing to more than 26,000 square feet in total under a series of deals announced by Ripco Real Estate.

The firm said Tuesday that it represented the landlords in the transactions, which involved a mix of restaurant, lifestyle and apparel tenants. The deals are as follows:

  • Chick-fil-A leased 4,077 square feet at 2 Nathaniel Place, backfilling a former Wendy’s space to open its first New Jersey location without a drive-through.
  • Club Pilates leased a 2,100-square-foot former Verizon space at 19 West Palisade Ave.
  • Y2 Men’s Clothing leased 1,850 square feet at 14 East Palisade Ave., a space previously home to a Papyrus store.
  • Amazing Lash leased 1,900 square feet at 16 East Palisade Ave.
  • GITO Women’s Clothing, which already had a presence in Englewood, committed to 2,545 square feet at 5 East Palisade Ave. and is expecting to open for Christmas.
  • Poke Crew Restaurant leased 1,700 square feet in the former 23 South Boutique location at 1 East Palisade Ave. and is planning to open in early 2018.
  • An undisclosed 12,000-square-foot tenant leased a former Victoria’s Secret space and the second floor at 17 West Palisade Ave.

Bergen Symphony Orchestra


The Bergen Symphony Orchestra, one of the pre-eminent classical orchestras in the county, begins its 7th concert season with works from Brahms, Mozart, Sibelius, and Elgar. This exciting concert, called “the Spice of Life,” will take place on Saturday, October 7 at 7:30 at the Fort Lee High School Auditorium, 3000 Lemoine Ave, Fort Lee, NJ and will feature the acclaimed violinist Yura S.J. Oh.

Newlywed Couple Starts Exciting New Life Together at The M at Englewood South

M-Entrance 2MBThe timing was perfect for newlyweds Mr. Prashant Kher and Dr. Geet Kher. After renting in midtown Manhattan and Long Island City for the past six years, they wanted to begin their new life together by achieving the dream of homeownership.
